Summary: Very easy to use (never read manual), and has long battery life. Use professionally and it gets the job done well in rugged conditions. Easy to operate with one hand. Would recommend this unit to a friend and/or buy again.
Too many complaints from people who don't own one!

Summary: It amazes me the comments made about this product in the gps forums and websites. I was very reluctant to purchase based on all of the complaints and whining. Now that I've had one for a week, I don't see what all of the complaining was about. It does everything I expected it to and more.
Summary: This is an extremely cool GPS. The screen is gorgeous. Big and sharp. The Topo 2008 maps look so cool with shading and 3-D. The new control wheel really makes it easy to use. Far easier than any other Garmin unit. It is well built, looks very cool and feels really good in your hand.
Summary: With much polarization of opinions, I thought long and hard about investing in this product. But so far i have absolutely no regrets. This is my second GPS, and this has replaced a Satmap Active 10 that was sadly stolen. But it does mean that can can compare the Colorado and Active 10.
Summary: This really is a great product. Shame that Garmin is discontinuing it. The roller wheel is in my opinion much faster than the touch screen of the also great Oregon series. The battery time is excellent, once you figured out to use the back lighting only when needed.
Summary: I updated mine with the latest software downloaded from the Garmin website and have had no problems, using it day after day in the Lakes. I also bought the Maps for all the National Parks which are great (OS Map Quality)as the pre loaded map is a bit basic. Easy to use and long battery life.
