Almost excellent except for a design and communication flaw

Summary: Well I loved it until I updated the course maps and discovered a common issue is that not everything fits on the device. I only wish those who construct such devices could plan ahead and leave a little extra space as I do not want to have to add / subtract regions later when planning to travel for golf. Aside from this annoyance it's a great joy to have on the wrist on the golf course.
Summary: Very nice watch! I will not be able to put it through its paces for another couple of months but so far it operates great. this watch looks good and is comfortable. it is light weight and easy to operate.
Summary: I have used multiple GPS golf watches / devices over the last few years, and this is (by far) the easiest one. No hassle, just turn on and use. Updates are very easy to do, self-recognized. The only "negative" comment is the unlock slide (when playing, to activate menu) usually takes several tries. But not frustrating, just doesn't work 100% first time. I rather swap the unlock slide with a key combination instead (i.e.
Summary: This version has clear resolution and there options to place the pin at different green locations. It is not as easy to get started as the S2 version. Once you get it going, it works fine, and is easy to use. The battery in the distance-finder will not last 36 holes.
Summary: 3 stars because; the GPS was listed as new but a reconditioned unit was sent. The GPS works fine and so far I like it, but I have only played one round. Yardages are accurate, scoring is easy and courses load automatically. UPDATE - Reconditioned unit was shipped in error. Seller promptly contacted me and rectified the situation. Nice job! Good seller.
Summary: The unit works well enough when charged . . . . . . But charging it is next to IMPOSSIBLE. It usually takes me 3 to 5 minutes of fiddling with the charger to get it to charge and then I have to put it down carefully so it stays charging. If it is bumped and the charging stops - it takes another 3 to 5 minutes of fiddling to get it to start charging a gain. Its a real pain.
