Summary: I have not been at all pleased with this Garmin device--- it looks fine indoors, but it is bulky and only runs on batteries--which the battery life of mine is VERY poor. Also, very hard to see the screen outside.
Summary: The garmin golf GPS works well, it doesn't take long for the GPS to find your location. The features are very helpful, such as the one that tracks the distanses for your different irons/woods. The only draw back is the battery life
Summary: I've been using this now for about two years and have no negative issues. I keep a couple of spare rechargeable batteries in my bag at all times but normally get about two full rounds per usage. Highly recommend, especially at the discounted cost now.
Summary: Well, I have had this for two years. I am not a fanatic at placing reviews about my purchases but thought this unit may prove to more challenging than others I've read about. This constant complaint about it being dark and hard to read is bogus.
Accuracy is good. Screen is a bit dim in the shade but bright in the sun

Summary: I really like the fact that all courses are pre-loaded and available w/o having to download them. Also, course data updates are available for free should you feel the need. I hated the subscription model that Sky Caddy forces. Sky Caddy can also only hold 10 courses at a time... very inconvenient.
Summary: This garmin is great on the course. It gives me distances to the waters/hazards and to the front/middle/and back of the green! It is a great product. It arrived in great condition and on time.
Summary: I now don't have to search for the markers. Simple fast and easy. They failed to say it didn't come with batteries which pissed me off. Bought rechargeable s and charger but I can't seem to charge it. Using AA for now. Only last 3 rounds.
Summary: I thought the Approach G5 was going to be a step up from my Golf Buddy World. The screen on the Approach is larger and the unit is waterproof. However, the unit itself is heavier than the Golf Buddy and somewhat bulky.
