Summary: If I really can I won't give no stars for this product, save your money don't even think About trying it, in the advertisement they tell you it keeps you away from low clearance bridges it took me to 13 feet bridge without even warning me. It give you the road name with exit number to follow but ooooops guess what it is wrong exit and now it is time for her to take a nap (calculating route), it might take up to 30 minute calculating and if you don't have atlas to check...
Summary: used it for 2 days and screen went blank.. unit still working could hear the clicking if I found a button.. I got the 8500 to replace it and I do not recommend the 8500... the 8000 has much better menus ... the 8500 you have to find settings real nice display less cluttered but the menu system bits.. the net option is only good if you have a connection in the truck..
Summary: I truck the 48 states in every direction and this must be the worst GPS on the market. Even with the latest software update, the best this unit can do is route me to a truck stop correctly 90% of the time. It has very serious map and software issues that will get you lost or on the wrong route nearly every time.
