Summary: i have had this one for just over 2 years now and i love everything about it. i have read some negative reviews about some of the things and i haven't had an issue with any of them. bluetooth works just fine, dvd's work great, navigation is awesome. i am about to update the maps as well as a software update they came out with for this model which says it updated the bluetooth.
Summary: It's not up to the premium Clarion name reputation for sure. I've replaced the "volume" control (encorder) twice. Not sure why, it seems like the LED inside just melted down or something? Gotta tell you, it's not fun to work on any car audio device, certainly not this one. The GPS is based entirely on that microSD chip below the volume knob.
Summary: This unit is ok for the money but it does have issues with the satnav side of things more than anything along with lag and poor software issues as well .The reason for this is that this unit it seems was made for the states and is made internally by an outside company ( NOT CLARION ) but a cheaper quality hence not having the usual high end clarion usually delivers .If your looking for a more premium satnav double din then buy kenwood or pioneer as the clarions or this...
Summary: i like the radio. the gps is very nice feature you don't use cd but sd card i like that the features except that it did not have pandora but you could still use it thru bluetooth over all is a well equip unit wit feature
Summary: I didnt jump into this purchase, I studied, I looked, I listened and all I can say is PEOPLE LIED and HID well. This thing is a pain, it goes to show the prettiest one out with the most features is NOT the way to go all the time. There are so many glitches and pains in this deck that I have started looking for another one nearly as soon as I got this one installed. Most problems stem from the tiein to the satellite tuner for Sirius and the steering interface.
Horrible interface when it even works and broke after a month

Summary: I've only had this thing for about a year and it's almost unusable. I should say I actually have the NZ501 but they're basically the same. After about a month the screen stopped being able to retract. So that aspect is useless but I decided to live with it. But so many other issues. 1) The touch screen is so touchy that often times you will select something you don't want and can't simply back out to where you were, you must start over.
Summary: I purchased the Clarion NX501 in December of 2011 and the product worked well for less than one year. By October of 2012 the volume control no longer works. Turning the knob up actually is more likely to reduce the volume. At this point, my volume is at zero and I cannot get any sound out of the unit at all. A complete waste of money.
Summary: I just installed this unit in our 2005 Honda Element. Installation was very simple after reading the wiring diagram and buying the proper wiring harness adapter for Honda. Everything was plug and play on rear of receiver which meant I could leave off things I was not using (subwoofer, HD radio cords etc.) This meant more room to work with behind unit (for installation in smaller cars this will be helpful).
Summary: Features: High resolution display, optional Sirius, Optional HD radio, bluetooth, and built in navigation system, aux in and out for your iPod etc. Also has a DVD player and can set up an option for back seat viewing as well. Optional backup camera. Comes with remote. Pros: Great screen quality Interface is easy to use Bluetooth calls are great and internal mic is decent. Navigation is accurate and very detail.
