Summary: I'm not sure why people are giving this unit such bad reviews. I feel that the Bushnell is very easy to use and very accurate. Also, it is very well constructed, so I don't feel like it will break in my hands like some GPS units.
Summary: I could never get topo maps to download to the unit. I was on the phone with Busnell for over an hour and they were suppose to call me back. Never did. I also learned that you can only download a very small area at a time. So I bought a Garmin Colorado 400T instead.
Summary: Bought this product because i lost my garmin. What a mistake!!!!!!!!! Basemap is has nothing on it. Takes for ever to lock on to satallites. screen got scratched wiping the rain off of it with a soft glove.
Summary: Good general purpose hiking geo-cacheing GPS. Map lacks detail but looks like it would get you someplace and back OK. Once you use it and it gets your location it will start up a lot quicker. Overall seems to work pretty good.
Summary: This GPS unit only allows you to download a small portion of maps into it. While this wasn't a problem for me as I was just looking to get maps of the immediate area around my city it would be problematic to someone interested in covering vast distances.
Summary: I bought this unit because it was on sale for $99. It works good. The base "map" is very sparse. Overall it's a cheap Gps unit. If you want one with full maps, topos and aerials, you're gonna pay for it. I just wanted a small unit to mark trails, distance and speeds. This unit does that well.
