Shocking, won't work and SHOCKING SERVICE FROM SELLER!!!
Lurey S. Badenhorst "Lutra", Amazon
31 December 2013
Summary: Impossible to install software. Needs VERY old version of JAVA which is impossible to find and even when you DO find and install JAVA, the Neo won't sync. Bushnell simply claims ignorance (and you wait forever to get feedback from them!). I'm horrified as THE SELLER, refuses to accept the return. Never been so disappointed. STAAAAAAYYYY AWAY! They should blacklist this seller!
Summary: Still have not been able to down load golf courses with the free Igolf membership. So I would not recommend this product to anyone. I plan on selling mine next summer in a yard sell and look for another brand that is more user friendly.
Summary: The device itself rates 5 stars, but when connected with igolf.com it rates zero. After 45 days it says you must register with igolf.com but that is impossible. I have found a solution however, Call Bushnell's customer service and they will give you igolf.com's phone number, which they do not list on their website. Once you have the phone number for igolf they will walk you through the sync process.
Summary: WARNING!! This device will quit working if you don't sign up with iGolf.com in the first 45 days after you turn it on. On April 2, 2012 I bought a NEO+ from Amazon, and 45 days after I received it, it quit working. Since Amazon's return window is 30 days, I am stuck with it. A prompt on the display said to "sync your device" at igolf.com to get it working again.
Summary: WARNING!! This device has a DRM system built into it. If you don't connect it to your iGolf account it stops working. Yes, I have a completely bricked device. that won't even power on. I bought it a couple of months ago. It is a nice little device, an improvement over the Neo (without the plus) that I've had for a year or two. Alas, since I have a Neo, the iGolf web site won't let me have another.
Software failed to load and Bushnell Tech Support would not answer

Summary: A friend of mine had a Neo. We used it for two rounds a couple of weekends ago. I liked the unit and the price so I decided to purchase one. After multiple attempts on three different PCs -- one with XP, one with Vista, and one with Windows 7 -- the software failed to load. I consulted the troubleshooting guide in the manual. Evidently, the most common problem with software loading failures is an outdated Java.
Summary: I was very happy to see that this product "is fully compatible with Intel processor Macs running OS X 10.4.4 or later". But, read on! I joined iGolf and downloaded three golf courses where I often play. The Neo Sync program which accomplishes this transfer opened properly. However the SEND function produced no result. After at least 45 minutes of reviewing all the instructions and trying all I could think of, I called Bushnell for assistance.
Summary: We had our golf GPS for about 2 weeks. Then, the readings on it went wacky, and everything was incorrect: the yardage, the greens, even the wrong courses! So we called Bushnell, they had us pay them $10, and we sent our GPS in for repair. Well, it's now been FIVE FREAKING WEEKS and we called multiple times. This week they told us that the status would be "updated" on Monday, and they had NO FURTHER INFORMATION.
