Summary: Impossible to install software. Needs VERY old version of JAVA which is impossible to find and even when you DO find and install JAVA, the Neo won't sync. Bushnell simply claims ignorance (and you wait forever to get feedback from them!). I'm horrified as THE SELLER, refuses to accept the return.
Summary: Still have not been able to down load golf courses with the free Igolf membership. So I would not recommend this product to anyone. I plan on selling mine next summer in a yard sell and look for another brand that is more user friendly.
Summary: You would think that something made by Bushnell would be worth $99. So did I. Unfortunately, in less than 16 months the unit crashed - motherboard, battery, buttons. I faithfully sent it to Bushnell for repair only to be informed that it was "obsolete" and couldn't be fixed.
Summary: DO NOT buy if you wish to add any GPS data file to the device for courses that are not pre-loaded. The sync function provided on the web site does not work. iGolf, which provides support to the product, fails to provide a workable solution.
Summary: The device itself rates 5 stars, but when connected with igolf.com it rates zero. After 45 days it says you must register with igolf.com but that is impossible. I have found a solution however, Call Bushnell's customer service and they will give you igolf.com's phone number, which they do not list...
Summary: WARNING!! This device will quit working if you don't sign up with iGolf.com in the first 45 days after you turn it on. On April 2, 2012 I bought a NEO+ from Amazon, and 45 days after I received it, it quit working. Since Amazon's return window is 30 days, I am stuck with it.
Summary: WARNING!! This device has a DRM system built into it. If you don't connect it to your iGolf account it stops working. Yes, I have a completely bricked device. that won't even power on. I bought it a couple of months ago.
