Summary: The mount on the bike is not useful and it keep sliding down. Need something to add some friction to it But at last I mount it on the T-joint and it mounted good. Anyway it is the only mount that you can get. So no way not buying it.
Summary: I must confess that I am accustomed to higher end Garmin handhelds costing much more so it's not a fair comparison. Still, I am disappointed. It's slow to start-up and lock on and when walking around it's wildly varying pointer does not instill confidence. I keep it clipped to my hunting backpack and use it as a plan B but I have never developed a confidence in it's ability to get me home.
Summary: It's pretty easy to use and a fun idea, and does what it says it does. But the user guides and software are pathetic. Ultimately, trying to import the tracks I recorded failed miserably, even after I uninstalled and reinstalled the software repeatedly, and the memory got erased. The help function is useless. I got an error message from the beginning saying initialization failed, and there was no guidance anywhere about it. The user interface is very primitive.
Summary: If you want accuracy....not the best item to buy. Many times it takes 20 or more minutes to get satelite readings. And changing batteries is a pain as the back is not too easy to remove. I guess for the money it's ok......but for the serious hunter spend the extra money and go Garmin or Magellen.
Summary: The receiver is quite weak as it fails when I get close to my 4-story work building in suburban Silicon Valley. So, I imagine this is probably of no use in urban canyons like NYC, Tokyo, and parts of San Francisco.
