Summary: If you want accuracy....not the best item to buy. Many times it takes 20 or more minutes to get satelite readings. And changing batteries is a pain as the back is not too easy to remove. I guess for the money it's ok......but for the serious hunter spend the extra money and go Garmin or Magellen.
Summary: The receiver is quite weak as it fails when I get close to my 4-story work building in suburban Silicon Valley. So, I imagine this is probably of no use in urban canyons like NYC, Tokyo, and parts of San Francisco.
Summary: I gave this as a gift and the person using it has really enjoyed it. This was my first purchase of a little travel GPS like this and I think for the price it is worth it but might go for a higher quality (price) one in future.
Summary: Does what we need it to do to meet the requirements of our State logs. They are not however "very rugged". We have had to replace 4-6 out of the 10 we bought originally due to the LCD screen going "black" or getting bumped or dropped by accident and the screen cracking rendering them useless.
