Summary: From the description, it seemed just the ticket for back tracking....but, the "quick start guide" omitted any of the many details and necessary instruction both for controls and programs I never intended to use, and referred me to the Bushnell website for a comprehensive "user's guide.
Summary: This device is very good at basic navigation. It points you to where want to go (Via recorded way points) You store a location, walk away, far away, in any direction, any terrain, anywhere and it will point you back to where you came from!

Summary: I have tried this device a half-dozen times and the only place it will connect to a satellite and function in the manner intended is if I am in the middle of a 20 acre open field. That doesn't help me much if I am in heavy woods following my bird dog or in the Pennsylvania forests tracking a deer.
