Summary: i had the older one. so when it died (it was passed down from my grandfather) i knew what i wanted to buy from the begging. great product, sat alight pick up is quick and it has got me out of sticky situations
Summary: After product finally gets a "lock" on the sattelite and way points are set, the unit almost always moves their location by up to 100 yards, in an unpredictable direction. It doesn't help me find my car in a large parking lot.... maybe i got a lemon...
Summary: Sadly, three times after I used the item I sent it back to the "shop." I sent it back to Bushnell as it turned itself off after 10 min. Hopefully I will get it back soon and can try it out again.
Summary: Damn thing is perfect. First two times out on the return legs I was convinced its pointer was way wrong. It was bang on correct. I just don't believe you should place your faith 100% in a gadget when you're out beyond the black stump, but, boy, is it seductive--and humbling to be proven wrong.
Summary: Bought this for a trip to London. We were to do a bit of walking and I wanted to be able to find my way back to the hotel if I got lost. It worked well. I especially like the PC software that plots your route on a map. I have also used it for skiing.
Summary: The unit has never turned on. I was not too concerned at first as I have other (non Bushnell) units to use. After replacing the lithium batteries a second time, the unit still did not turn on or function. Checking the batteries with a multi-meter, all three bats were 1.7 volts.
Summary: This thing is pretty cool. I've used mine for back packing and mountain biking. Great to get you out the same way you came in. Track speed, elevation change, tempature, distance. I read all of the reveiws and it seems that some people though this was like a Garmin.
Summary: I gave this as a gift and the person using it has really enjoyed it. This was my first purchase of a little travel GPS like this and I think for the price it is worth it but might go for a higher quality (price) one in future.
