Summary: I suppose if your purpose in purchasing this product was to be able to find your car in a parking lot, or a walk in an area with a completely unobstructed view of the sky, the gadget might work well— but if you're considering this for a hike in the woods with even a modest canopy of tree cover, forgetaboutit. Chances are that you'll find your way back to your car before the thing can lock onto a signal.
Summary: I bought this for my dad as he needed something to get back to his truck at night after a hunting trip. I also have one for myself. It really is useful for tracking where you have been and getting back to where you started.
Summary: I use my bushnell 360300 while trail riding horseback. I am able to locate my vehicle and or camp at any time. It also shows me hom many miles I travel horseback. I like it, if I lost it I would order another one immediately. The only drawback is it holds 3 triple A batteries. They only last about 8 hours. Overall good product.
Summary: gets you pretty close to your way point, not exactly 100% on, but it will get you close enough to your way point it doesn't really matter. the arrow can be a little mis leading however it seems to be more accurate if you are moving. It gets me in and out of the swamp, and is easy to use. the little satellite can sometimes take its sweet ass time to dial in when you first turn it on, but for the price and with my other gps experience this little guy isn't bad.
Summary: I purchased this GPS for a elk hunting trip in thick forest read many reviews and decided to go with this unit it did not fail me brought me back to my vehicle within 20yds and 10ft the next time didn't even open the package till i was in the field read the directions set the compass and left hiked 7 miles and it took us back.
Summary: From the description, it seemed just the ticket for back tracking....but, the "quick start guide" omitted any of the many details and necessary instruction both for controls and programs I never intended to use, and referred me to the Bushnell website for a comprehensive "user's guide." After going to the website, Bushel said no manual was available, and i should use the quick start guide...
