Excerpt: I brought the Binatone X350 from Asda for £50 on the 5th April 2009. I opened the box in the car park and thought I'd test it out. Anyway, first impressions we're it looked good for £50, after all you get what you pay for and obviously I hadn't purchased a £350+ Sat Nav.
Pros: You get your money back if you keep your receipt safe
Cons: The main disadvantage is the Binatone X350 !
Excerpt: 1. Bought X350 from ASDA for aout £50 as a christmas present for son 2. Very slow picking up post codes, poor satellite detection 3. While entering postcode if the second letter of post code shows up in lower case it comes up with "no result".
Excerpt: The X350 realy is a superb, low cost, PND.I purchased one last Friday (Nov. 14th) and assumed that it would be no more than a "throw away" device in the short term. Far from it - excellent route guidance - clear audio voice - instructions well in advance (left turn, right turn, take third exit,...
Summary: Somewhere in the corporate nothingness that seems to be BINATONE - a design alteration was made to the windscreen cradle for the X350. Consequently the cradle supplied with the Accessory kit doesn't fit the unit!
Summary: For £15 i dnt think this package is all that. you can a car charger & a holder but you already get this when you buy the actual Sat Nav. the mains adapter didn't work after one use of it so ended up sending the whole thing back and decided on a refund.
Excerpt: My wife would be the first to admit that her map reading skills leave a lot to be desired and as she cannot link up with the global positioning satellites (GPS) encircling planet Earth then I decided to trade her in for something that could.
Excerpt: This satnav i have found is extremely hard to find signal, it will find it half way through the journey which is clearly no good, currently looking to get an antenna to improve reception but struggling to understand how and where and what is right to get. very disappointing.
Excerpt: First sat nav product that I've bought. Aesthetically it's pretty good, and fairly light and compact. Display and road signage are very good indeed. Price is also very competitive. However, two fatal problems: 1. Screen sucker doesn't work and it keeps falling off, no matter what I try.
