Great product at a reasonable price.

Summary: I bought one of these many years ago and found it to be invaluable. I wanted to update the map card and had a very difficult time trying to contact anyone at Becker. I bought another one on ebay in hopes that it had more recent maps in it.
Summary: I bought my Becker Traffic Assist High Speed 7934 from Amazon.com a couple of years ago, but have not used it much untill lately. First problem: I find I need North American map updates - one not-so-new highway intersection on US 287 south of Dallas is not represented at all.
Summary: The Good: Very nice GPS, Solid build, nice looking (good finish) and being a German design I can imagine (and it looks as if) it will work for a long time. I also love the fact that it charges through a standard USB port.
Summary: I've been a cab driver for about 18 years. I bought this unit because of the price ($75) and just to try it out. I've had it for about 5 months. I am very satisfied with this unit. It is easy to see. It has both 2d and 3D.
Summary: I bought this unit after being frustrated with my TomTom 910 which quit charging. The Becker is a much better! I like the speed of catching satellites - never had problems here. The screen colors and clarity work good. Its very fast in recalculating your route.
Summary: This is my second GPS. My other one is an entry level Mio which I've been using for about 3 years. I got this new on Ebay for under $100 so I figured what the heck. Has a great rep in Europe. So far I like the Becker interface better -easier to see and to manipulate. POI seems great as do graphics.
Summary: Very accurate directions. But maps are not up to date. Hard to see the road names. Not thrilled about user interface. First address I put in was Hamilton, NJ and it couldn't find it. But I found the spot in the map and marked it.
