Shoddy quality

Nut "fidgeter", Amazon
21 October 2010
  • Summary: I don't usually buy the cheapest of anything but I figured that two hundred dollars can't get you something too shoddy. I was mistaken. The first warning sign was that the cig lighter adapter doesn't exactly fit the device! It only plugs in halfway. The device worked for 2 months and then I was stuck on the menu. The GPS portion is slow. Often times, during operation, the display would revert back to the menu for no reason.

Averatec Voya 320 car GPS receiver

badtelerising, Ebay
31 July 2009
  • Summary: I choose the Averatec GPS products for their simplicity. If you are like me and do not like complicated devices and an overage of decisions then this is a GPS for you. I do not care for different voices or a map of Europe. I travel within 5 states on a consistant basis and I can program this thing going down the road to another job site. I also have the older unit as well which still works perfect.

Good product for it's price

J. Surjanto, Amazon
20 January 2008
  • Summary: I have been using it for 1 year now, and I really use it a lot as my job requires me to drive around doing services to people's houses and offices. It might takes a bit to start up the gps in the morning, but once it's 'hot', it takes less than 1 minute for it to get the signal bearing. For the price that I paid for it, I'm very pleased with it.
