Summary: The Navaman 300 I purchased functioned well for about 30 days; thereafter, the liquid crystal display siezed to function or display readable information. I boxed it up and mailed it via UPS to the United Kingdom Great Britan, and that was the last I ever saw of it. I'll be damned if I'm going to get taken for another $50. I think I'll use a ruler instead. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS BRITISH GARBAGE.
Summary: I purchased a NAVMAN X300. I am VERY unsatisfied with the product. The display started to fail a few months after I purchased it. It is now almost completely unreadable. After reading other reviews of Navman products in this line (GPS odometer / speedometer) I see that several people complain of the same problem with the display. If Navman were a reputable company they would issue a recall for these obviously defective products. If it looks like a triangle, DON'T BUY IT!
Summary: I just purchased a Navman GPS from a local retailer and the display only shows the letter C. I tried reseting the unit and it appears as if the display has gone bad. Navman's customer service is very poor and I will be returning this product as soon as possible.
Summary: I am on my second Navman R300. My first one lasted me several months, but then the hdisplay crapped out. I tried repeatedly to contact Navman, and they repeatedly ignored my emails. Sadly, I bought a second R300 and on my SECOND use, the display died. Once again, I am getting the total run-around. NO customer service. Terrible. I am disappointed beyond words. It turns out this is a common problem. I found evidence of others with similar stories out there.
