Summary: After reviewing related products, I chose the Lowrance AirMap 2000c because of its many useful features. It was a great value for the price, which was over $700 (after discount) when I bought it. It COULD have a display a little more like a Sectional chart, especially near cities, which it doesn't show at ALL, but overall it takes advantage of GPS technology to make aerial navigation easy, intuitive, and safe.
Summary: The Lowrance 2000C GPS I bought was for a friend. I have owned one for 8 years and love it. The only problem with it is, they don't make them for aircraft anymore. At the present time, you can not update your software. I have never had a problem with mine. I wish they would start making them again.
