Conclusion: I used to love Wilson Staff clubs – at least, I love the classic 8813 and 8802 Wilson Staff blade putters (I still have both) and my Fybrid 3 and 5 woods (the first editikon, not Wilson’s recent and considerably inferior remake). But the Spine driver must surely be the worst golf club ever put on the market by a "name" manufacturer.
Conclusion: I traded in my Callaway ’Big Bertha’ for a Taylor-Made R7 and still missed 40%-50% of the fairways. I then closed the car door on the shaft of the R7 (accidently) which damaged it beyond repair. While browsing around in the local golf shop, I checked out the Spine driver and had a few hits in the nets. I fell in love with it right off. After striking a deal with the salesman, I took possession of the demo stick I was using and headed home.
Conclusion: hi. just thought id rock the boat a little. i play off a 7. im no hack, and im a technology junkie. and i am psychotic when it comes to the big dogs. longstoryshort. i cannot hit this thing. its a slice or a hook. the odd occasion i middle it, it only goes 230-250, majority of this is a roll. i have snapped the original UST stock shaft.(UST worst shaft quality of all, unless ur on the payroll).
Conclusion: Just purchase this driver and what a joy to hit. I had been playing a taylor made burner and this club is 20 yards longer and much forgiving. Great shaft in this club and have not hit the ball as long for many years. very happy with the club.Goes very straight and long long long.
Conclusion: This is the longest driver out and I have hit almost everything. The ball flys straight and this may be the best looking driver as well. I will miss my Cobra F Speed LD but with this Wilson I am gaining 20 yrds.
Conclusion: Only played one round with it, but the indications are there that I have found a gem of a club. While I didn’t hit every fairway, when I missed it wasn’t by much. This is a vast improvement for me.
Conclusion: this driver is great, i have used a ping g2 for the last 4 years and have not found a driver that came c lose to it for me in regards to accuracy and distance , seeing i twas getting a little old istarted looking around for a replacement , i tried the taylormades and i tried the new pings and callaways and seemed to like the FT-I from callaway but did not fancy paying 700 odd dollars , then i read a review on this driver , i had liked the way the cleaveland hi-bores sat...
