FORGIVING, FEELS RIGHT, LOOKS GREAT, WISH I FOUND IT YEARS AGO.
8 November 2011
Summary: BEING A PART TIME GOLFER (5 TO 8 TIMES PER MONTH) THE CLUB IS VERY FORGIVING AND ALLOWED ME TO PUT THE BALL IN THE FAIRWAY MUCH MORE OFTEN. THIS GIVES ME A CHANCE TO MAINTAIN A BOGEY AVEAGE. THAT IS ALL I WANT TO BE. ENJOY THE GAME AND NOT EMBARRASS MYSELF TO MUCH.
Conclusion: After using the Burner 09,Calloway Hyper X,and finally, the Nicklaus Air-Max 460,this summer with undistinguished results,I came across the GeoMax 10.5 stock stiff and wow, will have this club in my bag for a long time.Went from about 235-245 with the others to 255 and straight with this club.Truly...
Conclusion: I recently picked a brand new 16 in reg shaft off ebay for $35 shipped. I gotta say, dollar for dollar this is the best club I have ever bought. Initially I was worried about the high loft and shaft combo.
Conclusion: Same for me... I recently picked up a used set of Bazooka Jmax irons and a GeoMax2 9° Draw Driver (eBay is great!). These clubs are fantastic. The irons are the most forgiving clubs I have ever hit, and the driver has seriously improved my consistency off the tee - and such a sweeeeet sound!
Summary: This was my first club to be upgraded from a "boxed beginner set" that I started with - I knew that any name brand driver was going to be a huge upgrade from what I was using. What I didn't know was that I would like the club it so much that I've become a Tour Edge loyalist!
Summary: Always interested by this driver based on reviews, I had read saying how forgiving and easy it was to hit... I have not been disappointed this is my new best friend... Replaced my Callaway Diablo driver after a visit to the range followed by my first round with the Geomax.
Summary: I purchased this used with a stiff shaft at 9 deg. My swing speed is 101-108 mph. That said, the club shaft was lighter then a stiff shaft that I was expecting. This is NOT a bad thing... there is no "standard" in the shaft industry for stiffness- S, R, A, L are not uniform.
