Reviews and Problems with Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Hybrid

Great value for an excellent used line of hybrid clubs
5 November 2012
Summary: The XCG-3 is somewhat dated now in the Tour Edge line, but the XCG-3 looks and feels similar to the later models available. I highly recommend purchasing the older models used because they are very durable clubs. The two that I have purchased used had very few blemishes and cost a fraction of new. I look forward to completing my set in future auctions.
Summary: The two clubs arrived on time and in perfect condition. I am a 1 handicap golfer at age 63 and really love these two clubs. I put them in my bag immediately and have hit some great shots with them. Nice job.
Summary: I have been a big fan of the Tour Edge Exotics fairways and hybrids for several years, and this may just be the best of their hybrids to-date! It is longer for me off the tee and from the fairway than many or most 17* - 18* hybrids, and I find it to be more accurate, as well. I can work the ball both left and right (or hit it dead-straight) with this club, and I get a nice, high (but not TOO high) trajectory with it.
Summary: This 3 wood sets up very easily and hits the ball extremely long. The sound when you hit the ball is a different type of ting but to me not annoying at all. This club will perform for the user with a smooth swing. Nice looks and comfortable set up gives the player confidence standing over the ball.
