The Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Wedges is a unique product that provides a truly discernible performance options such as a full range of lofts from 48° to 64°, low, mid, and full bounce sole options in many lofts, and three distinct non-glares finishes to execute more shots from around the greens. Each wedge design is based on Bob Vokey’s (renowned wedge maker) experience working with the best players in the world, including sole designs hand ground by Bob with input from Tour professionals. Vokey Design wedges have been the most played wedges on the PGA Tour since 2004.

Features

The Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Wedges is made of 8620 mild carbon steel and features a spin-milled variation that adds spin but retains the shape and playability of the classic wedge line. The profile for each wedge has been precisely created using CAD to perfectly blend the size, shape, topline thickness, and offset from loft to loft. Vokey Spin Milled wedges feature a CNC machine to create a rougher surface for better spin retention on partial shots. A special circular saw style cutting tool is used to create precise grooves with a steeper draft angle and a tighter edge radius for increased friction. Vokey Spin Milled wedges have 30% more groove volume than a conventional wedge. This provides more consistent and higher spin, particularly from grassy lies and wet conditions. For the better player, wedges are the truest scoring clubs. Every shot from 125 yards and in is hit with a wedge, including full shots, chip shots, sand shots, flops, pitches, and more. Players may switch drivers or irons every few weeks (or even week to week), but wedges sometimes last for years in a player’s bag. The Vokey Spin Milled wedges retain the classic teardrop shape and come in only one finish, which is the Tour Chrome finish with Black Nickel. The clubs are equipped with a standard TrueTemper Dynamic Gold S200 shaft and a Titleist-branded Golf Pride Velvet rubber Cord grip (round w/ logo underneath). The Vokey Spin Milled are only available in six loft and bounce combinations of 56.10°, 56.14°, 58.08°, 58.12°, 60.04° and 60.08° (for right handed player only). Loft usually is measured in degrees, of the angle at which the face of the club lies relative to a perfectly vertical face. Technically, iron loft and wood loft are measured slightly different, but the effective result is the same. Loft gives you an idea of how far and how high the ball will go.
