Summary: I've played several rounds of golf since receiving these clubs. I'm getting the same distance I had when I was in my twenties and thirties, I'm 67 now. The clubs are very forgiving, on toe hits or slight mishits the ball still goes about the same distance and direction.
Excerpt: I have been a Titleist homer my whole life. Nearly every club in my bag has been Titleist for years. I recently test hit these irons, and my initial reaction was "Whoa.... that exploded with ease!
Summary: I'm in my 50's havent played for 30 years my son took it up and thought i'd start up again and play with him.I bought him a cheap set of Srixon's and he got me a cheaper set, he doesnt work and goes to uni.
Excerpt: These irons are fantastic. I decided on the AP1s after hitting Callaways, Ping G20, and TaylorMade Burners. Just felt more solid and had less scatter on the fitting simulator. I would caution anyone about changing lie angles according to your fitting.
Summary: After researching the most foregiving irons on the market, elected to go with Titleist AP1's. Was not looking for additional distance rather a more foregiving iron. The AP1 met my expectations. As a bonus, I picked up about 5 yards additional carry that land very soft.
