Very forgiving and hits the ball long and straight
9 September 2013
Summary: Not the greatest golfer in the world, but I sure feel confident when addressing the ball with this club in my hand. Very easy to line up, hits the ball high and straight. A very forgiving club as well.
Summary: Nice fairway wood, the weight felt well balanced. Very solid golf club for the age. It did flight the ball a little higher than I expected, but did not balloon. I would recommend this to a mid handicapper that prefers traditional size and look.
Summary: i received the product (a 3 wood)as described in a timely manner. i've used the product for several rounds of golf and am very pleased with it. i play with a bunch of guys in their 60s and i can say that my 3 wood outdrives their drivers. once we measured my 3 wood drive on a level fairway at 260 yards.
Summary: This is a product I have been looking for for a long time. I used to have such a golf club before but it got stolen and a new product was launched. Its a solid and good versatile club. It just worked really well. There is a lot of different types and brands of fairway woods.
Small traditional head encourages confidence at address.

Summary: I have carried the 980F 15 degree 3 wood since that model was introduced, terrific club in all respects. I replaced my TaylorMade hybrids with 980F 19 and 21 degree fairway woods. The 980 series fairway woods are consistent and easy to hit. These clubs give you a higher ball flight with a softer landing than low numbered irons. Just wish I could find a nice 23 degree to complete my set.
Summary: The club is fantastic. Performs beautifully. I've actually been using the club from the t-box freguently and have flown balls over 250 yards with this club without having to swing hard. Love the weight and balance on this club, makes it easy to hit the ball in the sweet spot. I bought the 13 degree strong and am extremely pleased with it. The head is compact enough and designed to make fairway shots as easy as t-shots.
Summary: Excellent golf club for the money. Very good weight and balance. New Titleist clubs are out of my budget, but the ones that 2-3 yrs old are very affordable. This is especially true after the 910 series came out. Make sure you have the proper shaft flex to suit your game. That is the key.
Summary: Well worth every cent,I'm 25 yards + longer then my old woods, par 5's no longer a problem, highly recommended for people with higher swing speeds, old but perform great they even do great on correcting on off center hits, first time I hit it all I said was WOW!!!! lol low boring shot but you can learn to hitem high if you need to!!
Good experience. product description correct and in superb condition

Summary: brilliant club. this one came fitted with a true temper S300 shaft. I would probably go for a heavy weighted graphite if i had my way but this club is brilliant when correctly hit. a good example of past technology still getting the job done!
Summary: I have only been golfing for 4 years and didn't start till I was 50. I had trouble hitting my fairway woods always had a fade or sometimes a slice I recently bought a set of titleist 980f woods and have been hitting them straight every time. I not only am staight now I am getting more distance than ever with fairway woods.
