Great hybrids, but getting the right shaft flex was and is the key
8 August 2012
Summary: I purchased the Titleist 909 hybrids 21 and 24 degree with regular flex Mitsubishi Diamana factory upgraded shafts to replace the Titleist 585 hybrids with stiff YS6+ shafts. My swing speed has slowed to 90-92 mph with driver and only 1 out of 4 shots with the stiff shafts was high, solid, on target, most low and right.
Summary: Awesome hybrid. Basically the same as the 910 H without all the fancy adjustments that I don't want. The 910 H feature makes the hostel too fat and out of scale with the rest of the club, it doesn't look right to me. Like the 19 degree hybrid so much bought the 24 degree as well, both with the Mitsubishi Rayon blue board shafts (very expensive, but then we are talking Titleist here).
Excellent club!!! The best fix to your long game woes - a must have club!!!

Summary: Without a doubt one of the best performing hybrids on the market. Titleist continues to raise the bar for the mid to low handicap player. Excellent profile, workability and shaft / head combination. Pick these up on eBay cheaper than the new 910 model and save par from anywhere. Dump your long irons forever and lower your scores.
The Talyormade is now retired! This club out performs all the rest.

Summary: Simply fantastic... solid feel with workability. A club you can hit with confidence. I bought this club because my Taylormade hybrid didn't give me the confidence that I was looking for. After several rounds with my new Titleist I have hit this club more times in three rounds than I hit the Taylormade in five years. It goes where I want it to, lands soft and feels great.
Summary: I am not an expert golf writer but I can tell you the club is very easy to hit. The base of the club drops down very slightly which allows the club to get under the ball but not so much it digs in. If you have a med-fast swing speed like I do, then the stiff shaft works great. Not too small and not too big of a crown. I like the traditional pear shape and the head cover stays on the club.
