Not as hot a club as I thought. One generation back is a better club(905T)
2 October 2012
Summary: I'm still trying to get use to the club. Not like the Taylormade drivers I've used for years. I'm hitting a Titleist 905t model driver farther than this new and improved weapon. As far as the product, it's fine. It's the user that is the problem.
Summary: for my level, the driver doesn't help at all. it will in fact affect and bring my game down to start again. the driver will only benefit the single digit players who knows how to make all the necessary adjustments. it will not help them get better drives nor long drives, but only get average drives.
Conclusion: As much as I try I cannot get the best out of the 909D3 on the course. I can normally hit about 9/10 fairways per round as a 20 handicapper but am having real trouble with this club since I purchased it in January. In saying that… when I get onto it, it flies!
