This is well worth the investment.

Summary: This wedge is absolutely awesome. The Exchangeable Face Technology is phenomenal and brilliant. The club itself doesn't feel heavy, even with the extra weight of the screws. The feel is much better than I expected, and it produces ample spin. This is well worth the purchase whether you're a high or low handicapper.
Summary: I found this club to be a better "all around" sand wedge than my previous Taylormade model and think you might too, if: - you are looking a club that is good from different sand surfaces, and - you want a club that is good for shots around the green where the lie is tight OR in thick grass To be fair, I rarely use a sand wedge from the fairway (use a 52 degree) so I'm not a good judge on its effectiveness on those shots but have no reason to think it wouldn't be a good...
The TaylorMade R7 TP irons are the standard by which new TP irons are made

Summary: I bought this sand wedge to match the rest of my R7 irons PW-3. I especially like the look and feel of this iron. The more traditional profile and sole of this wedge provides just the right amount of bounce around the greens. If you are looking for a nice wedge or used set of irons for the better player at a reasonable price, consider the TaylorMade R7 TP irons.
Summary: I originally bought this Sand Wedge because I had received the sister club a 60degree Wedge for a present. I loved it so much I had to have the Sand Wedge. This club puts the spin on the ball that makes its one hop and stops! I love that when the face of the club gets a little worn I can just replace it for a new one. A new club all over again. I have had other wedges in my bag before but Taylormade is far superior.
Summary: I bought this to replace my sand wedge. I figured if I can use it as sort of a lob/utility wedge as well, well great. First off, it hits beautifully out of the sand. The bounce is perfect. It's definitely shaved some strokes off my score as far as sandtraps are concerned. As for hitting off the fairway or out of rough, no problem. I have the 56 degree. It gives me a nice high loft, hits cleanly and smoothly out of grass. It's a solid, multi-purpose wedge indeed.
Summary: I bought this because I wanted to replace my 52 degree vokey,,,I feel my off center hits would be better and hit it with more consistency .specially the in between yardages . I just returned from Florida and played several rounds with it and I love it....good move on my part. Also the club matches my Taylor made tp irons and the price was a steal.
Summary: i have a taylormade cb iron set from 4-pw already have a wedge set sand and lob but cb iron Gap wedge was difficult to find but r9 gap wedge has been great if not better. i don't have to force my sand wedge or club down on pitching wedge swing is the same on all my clubs.
