Summary: I just wanted to stop in and tell you guys about my Burner Tour iron experience. I have been an avid player for most of my adult life. I played another companies blades for many years including when I carried a 2.5 handicap. I played blades up until April 2011 when my game was put on hold. I was involved in a bad automobile accident and broke my humerus, the ball of my shoulder, and serious rotator damage. I wasn't able to play any golf until January 2012.
Summary: Just won used TM Tour Burner Irons on eBay from 3Balls.com. Clubs arrived in excellent shape, just needed new grips. Installed Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips, and took them to the course to play them. Hit them on the range prior to the round, and loved them. Will bein my bag probably as long as my old Pinseekers. Like the look, feel, and distance is awesome!
Summary: I used purchased this driver in May gently used from a seller on ebay. I've used several drivers off and on over the past couple years, switching between a 8.5* cobra x speed to an older Cleveland launcher 7.5*. I've even purchased an alpha model long drive driver at one point to try. Before I bought the taylormade I was back to the cobra and hitting it fairly well, and about as long as I ever had.
Summary: very worth the money. i'm just glad that i got it the way i did.
Pros: everything is great about this driver. i am very picky on my clubs and i mean picky. i hit this driver at the shop( i worked at dick's sporting goods at the time) i hit this driver and i loved the feel of it. the stock shaft is very deserving to be with this head it felt like i could not hit this club wrong. the head has a triangular head shape which enlarges the sweet spot and boy did it. i've hit it a few times and i know that i hit it on the toe or heel and it went...
Cons: you can't make me. there is nothing wrong with this driver. the shaft is top notch and the grip is the standard taylor made grip.
