Summary: I bought this item new and it came with a small scratch in the shaft. The scratch penetrated the surface so I'm worried about the shaft lasting for the long term. I don't buy five woods often. I used my last five wood for over ten years until the glue gave and the head of the club came off. If I had a choice I would've got the same club but without the scratch.
Excerpt: I have always struggeled to hit my 3 wood straight and I found the Taylormade to be very difficult to hit straight. I aim left and do not swing too hard and the ball will fade back to the center or right of target. If I aim straight or swing too hard I get a big slice to the right, way off target.
Excerpt: It must be the D4 swing weight, but after 30-35 balls, on and off the tee, I just could not get the feel for the trajectory or direction. I am really disappointed after experiencing superior results with the RBZ driver and irons.
Excerpt: I decided to give this a try (5 wood and driver) on the range at my club yesterday to see if it was what all the hype was saying. It was OK. To my surprise it was a low trajectory for me considering it was a 5 wood. It also seem long in the shaft length, 1/2 more than my several year old Nike. distance seemed to be good but not over the top. I didn't feel that i would have any higher ball flight than my 13 degree 3 wood.
