It's definitely longer...

Summary: This driver definitely gives you more distance when you hit the ball on the screws. There was definitely an adjustment period for me though; the club length is longer than my last, and took some getting used to. Be sure you're good with the club length and this one will be a good fit.
Summary: Tried this driver out and first drive went 300 yards second drive went 250 yards ,problem was that i could not tell the difference between the 2 shots, the club just felt unresponsive and lacking in feedback to me ,Others might love it but not my cup of tea.
Summary: Howdy from Howdy Playing for just 14 months...play tennis three times a week...will be investing in some Taylor Hybrids SOON!. Am enjoying swinging the Stage 2 Driver...already won $100 from my friend who said I wouldn't break a hundred when trying to start a new sport (golf) at age 70!...shot a 94 and cashed!...later..
It took some time but I have increased distance and accuracy 10-20 meters

Summary: I was really disappointed in this club initialy and went back to my old standard. The whole idea of dialing in loft was more than I wanted to be bothered with. I went back to the club and worked on my stance and head speed (slowed down). I now see this as a great product with a solid feel. Distance and accuracy have increased significantly following consistant trips to the driving range. This a good product and deserves the attention of golfers.
Easy to hit,I like the fact there is a lot of adjustment in the shaft.

Summary: The stage 2 driver is easy to hit, it has a large sweet spot. I like the fact it has a lot of adjustment with the shaft. I have an R9 driver and I like the shaft in the R9 better, I have better control with my R9. I do not see any difference in distance between the two. I wish the shafts were interchangeable. all in all it is a good club.
Nice driver if you can get it at the after market price

Summary: As a beginning golfer looking to take his game to the next level, I decided this driver would be a good way to start--with the newer TaylorMade driver model hitting the market, the price was right on this club. After hitting with it for about 108 holes, I can say that it has added some distance to my shot. It hasn't cured my slice, but that is something more wrong with my swing than the club (though some reviewers have said that it has fixed their slice).
