great club to improve your game!
2 January 2014
Summary: great club! if you hit the ball well over 100 mph, and hit real high this is a great club to use to help with that. this will help lower your launch and spin. my game has greatly improved since changing to this club.
Highly recommend this pro club, which requires higher swing speed!

Summary: By far, the best club I've owned ever. I've been a huge Taylormade fan from the beginning and enjoyed watching their line of woods transform over the years. I've had their original burner, TP burner, then the 200 series, 500 series (510, 540, 540xp), R7 series (425cc), then the R9 TP, R9 Supertri and now the R9 Superdeep.
Summary: As a 2.7 index, the driver is critical to have both distance and workable shots. I had been playing a TM SF 2.0 x stiff and also a R11. After this last season, I couldn't help but notice, my driving accuracy had been much worse with no extra distance. I recently purchased the TM R9 superdeep TP and I must say WOW!! If you play golf consistently and have quality ball striking skills, I would recommend this driver over all the others I have played.
Summary: "Beautiful Ball Flight". I hit a 10.5* driver real high so my other drivers are 8.5 to 9.5. But this 10.5 R9 Superdeep is just right, nice long soaring ball flight and accurate to. It does have a little heavier swing weight than others but not enough to matter. I have never hit a driver soooo long and straight and its workable to. I'm just sorry Taylormade quit building it. You can have all the Rocketballz and R11's you want this R9 Superdeep is awesome.
Summary: TP Means Tour Players or Tour Preferred!!! This Driver is Amazing Left Right whatever You want it to do! This Driver is for the Better Player Lower Flite control! I am amazed by Bad Reviews by the Weekend Golfer This Driver is TP Tour Proven!!! and in the Hands of Better Players it out performs most every Driver Out There!!
Summary: This is my second Superdeep..the first was a tour 7.5 and i loved it. Then it got stolen. I then purchased a SuperTri and loved the workablility but it looks like a sherman tank. This Superdeep 8.5 is the cats meow...the 435cc head seems so much smaller at address than the Supertri but it hits like a dream. I have a splined aligned aftermarket shaft that i use with it and as mentioned if you can duplicate your swing consistantly you will love this driver like no other.
Summary: Great driver, I had already played it before I bought one. I knew what I was getting. Superior playability straighter and longer than my Titleist driver. I have not tried adjusting the weights or the shaft, I have to find the manual or a copy of one. Golf season is over in Indiana so I have until spring. I love the feel of the ball on the club head. You really get a sense of where you hit the face great feedback. Tried the R-11 and feel the R-9 is longer.
Summary: This driver is excellent. Tried several drivers before this one and balooned all of them. This club brought my spin numbers and launch angle right down. Definitely the lowest spin head i've hit. Small head looks great at address and it's super solid to hit. More forgiving than some reviewers say (definetly not the monster reserved for high swingspeed single digit handicappers some describe it as).
