Taylormade for me
9 February 2011
Summary: I'm an old guy (71) so I ordered an R9 460 with 11.5 loft and M flex. It launches the ball higher and farther. I just got the club but am confident that it's just what I need. I'm still experimenting with the FCT settings to see what will work best. The adjustability is a great feature. I'm working to get a draw on the ball so it'll roll farther. Good work TM.
Summary: I've rated this driver as good, only because it is in used ( but very good )condition. Can't review the actual performance of this club, as it was purchased as a gift for someone, and they have not got a chance to use it yet. We live in the northeast, and still have too much snow on the ground.I do know that this is one of Taylormade's highest rated products and I'm sure it will bring much happiness to it's new owner.
Summary: I purchased this driver because, I compete on a weekly basis with very good and younger players. Several of my competitors have this drivers and seem to get more distance. I am looking for more distance and accuracy if possible. I am having difficulty finding the correct adjustment. I may need to change the shaft to the graphite design ys-6 +s350 that I have in my ft-5. I REALLY LIKE THIS DRIVER AND HOPE IT WILL WORK FOR ME.
Conclusion: Ok Great stats but werid sound i couldnt take it and not when the R9 tp s430cc sounds great go try it and you will like it better and if you have any hearing problems, they will like it to , now it you want to drive your friends nuts then its the driver for you but for the crumy shaft that comes with it is not the driver they say it is but what do i know i only have one in my closet and i dont hit it werid cause if was that good more pros would play it .Ck
Summary: This driver is growing on me. I've had it about a month and have been to the driving range once and played 3 or 4 rounds with it. At first it was a little funny and I am not completely comfortable with the adjustable head yet but generally it works well... It fits into the typical taylormade mould; its easy to hit, goes pretty straight and makes the right sound. For the money I think it is one of the best drivers out there.
