Summary: one of my favorites of the Taylormade line. I've had the club in the past but sold it and should not have. I now have a R7-425TP; R7-SuperQuad; R9-Super-tri-TP; Currently looking at the new R1 for 2013.
WELL DONE TAYLORMADE, SUPERQUAD, BEST DRIVER CLUB EVER
1 November 2012
Summary: This has to be without doubt one of the best and easiest Drivers to use that TaylorMade has ever produced. The feel and balance is excellent, it gives accuracy as well as great distance with the bonus of weight change through the four weight ports etc.
Summary: THe R7 SuperQuad is one of the Best constructed golf heads ever made. The ability to adjust the weight on the bottom of the Club is great and if only I was a better golfer, I'd know what to do with them!
Summary: This has to be the best driver I have ever hit. Been hitting the new taylormade superfast but no comparison to this. Club has much more control and distance. Don't know why they changed their technology. None of the new Driver's for 2011 or 2012 compare to this model.
Summary: I have used the Taylormade R7 since it first came out. My driver developed a rattle that could not be fixed. I was looking for a replacement and went on Ebay and found the identical driver. I ordered and was delighted when it arrived and I saw that it was identical!!
Wow this should have been in my bags years ago. I love the control.

Summary: Nice club, the stiff shaft preforms well. I was able to configure the weights inside on simulator and the ball path on the range was the same as I had with prior clubs but I get the same distance with 3/4 swings and I'm able to hold my balance.
Summary: I have tried several models including the newer TaylorMade models and I just can't get rid of my old r7. I love the TP model, I will never not have a TP model as far as I am concerned. If you need a great driver for the money, you can't go wrong with a TM TP Superquad
Regular Taylormade r7 SuperQuad is more suitable for the amateur than TP .
4 July 2011
Summary: TP means Tour Preferred. I have been playing very well with a regular r7 SuperQuad for the last 2 years. I figured I would play even better with the TP version of r7 SuperQuad. Wrong ! The ball doesn't fly as high and tends to fade even though the TP is equipped with a regular shaft .
