Summary: I bought this after using my old R7 quad TP and i'm very dissapointed. Its only a tad longer and is very erratic. the shaft felt whippy and horrible. i've hit half as many fairways. i'm going to go back to my r7 and hit it 270 in the fairway instead of 280 out of bounds.
Summary: I bought this Driver and its the most accurate driver that I have ever had, except I lossed 20 yards off the Tee. Sets up well but just seems Dead. I have hit a few low boring 300 yarders with this club, Buts when I tee it high, thats when it just feels dead. Going Back to Bang O Matic.
Summary: I bought an 8.5 deg x shaft shortly after this club was released. I came from an original r7 quad. The superquad was dissappointing. The club sets up and looks incredible, the all black clubhead is awesome for setup. I average about 295-305 off the tee and easily lost 20 yards with the superquad.
Summary: Got a Superquad TP 9.5* with the TP-75 Rombax shaft and was severely disappointed. Went from the FT-5 tour to this, and lost nearly 15 yards. Lacks the real "pop" that the Callaways have. Launches very high and rolled nowhere for me. Swing speed for me is avg. about 105.
Summary: Ya this drive is not really good, for anyone with a handicpap below liek 30, unless you have a swing speed of negative 10 you can hit it, theres no work abiltiy and it goes wat too high stick a Titleist or a players club, if you need forgiving ness ill give this club it, but if you can make contact...
Summary: Try again Taylor Made. If a company is going to charge $499.99 for a driver it had best be something so great it will never be matched. Taylor Made has let us down. This driver is doesn't even match the 580 model!
Summary: Went to Carls Golfland & tried the regular shaft R7 Quad with slight draw setup. Being an older golfer I don`t hit as far as I used to.190-200 yrds.Anyway I could not hit this driver any farther than I can hit my own.I also tried the Cobra 440sz.
Summary: First of all, please understand that this is a subjective review of the hottest club currently on the market, and what works for me may not work for others, and vice versa. I bought the r7 driver (10.5*, regular-flex shaft) in Las Vegas in October 2004, after demoing it during a round at Angel Park...
