Tom from Lafayette, Golf Gear Review
11 January 2014
  • Summary: I have to confess I'm a club junky. In the last two years...several Cobras, BB 460, Nickent 3 DX....all currently competing for pole postion in the garage. This TM is a cut above the Cobra Speed drivers and about equal to the BB 460. The BigBertha has a much lower profile that the TM, but I think the TM is more forgiving. Even a severe toe hit goes straight with fair distance. Believe me for $149 You Can Not Go Wrong!
  • Pros: The club has a nice feel to it and sets up well to the ball. I think this is a 2 degree closed face but it does not look like it at address. Impact feels solid and it seems to cure the fade. 45 inch shaft which I choke up a little and seem to get good results. This is by far the best TM driver I have ever used.
  • Cons: Nothing adverse

Great irons, would recommend to others!

  • Summary: I am a 'new' golfer but wanted a quality set of irons. These taylormade irons are easy to use and correct some slice in shots made. They are used, and show some wear, but thats okay, because the price was very good! R7 draw irons are exceptionally forgiving and easy to use. I must admit I am now a 'taylormade' man.

TaylorMade R7 Rescue Hybrid Draw is the real deal, fairways and greens

bluetemplar51, Ebay
2 November 2011
  • Summary: A TaylorMade with a true Draw bias. The R7 Rescue Hybrid clubs will help a slice and is a game improvement club but, not the best have I have tried. These clubs are hot off the face and do not balloon. This club knows where the fairway is and with the stiff shaft it helps you swing it more like an iron which is the way it was meant to hit and produces a penetrating ball flight. Good club but it can't compete with TaylorMade Burner Rescue Hybrids, they are world class.

The Anti-Slice

hh2az, Ebay
27 March 2011
  • Summary: I have a horrid slice. I had tried to correct it through lessons changing my backswing follow through and everything in between. I purchased this club on a whim but it has been my best golf purchase yet. 1 afternoon at the range and I can control the ball like never before. I can fade it, slice it and actually hit it straight. I purchased the stiff but would like to try the regular. Pros- Better feel and ball control.

TaylorMade r7 Draw Driver

cris2339, Ebay
19 January 2011
  • Summary: Great club, Good distance and I is easy to hit down the middle every time. I have tried 8 different drivers the past year and will be leaving this club in my bag for a long time. I can't see another driver that is better for my swing than this one. i have hit at least 20 different brand name drivers in the past 3 years, some i liked but, none like this one. I suggest you give this puppy a try if your not happy with your driver.

magic driver

islandboy51, Ebay
5 July 2010
  • Summary: I'm still looking for a stick that will correct my slice 100% of the time. Do you think such a club exists? Probably, but it's called a magic wand. R7 Draw did in fact help straighten my drives.

The clubs are in very good condition with minimum wear.

wclark64002009, Ebay
11 May 2010
  • Summary: These clubs seem to have a very large sweet spot and are a pleasure to play. They show minimum wear and obviously have been well taken care of. The draw face helps correct my tendency to fade the ball.
