Summary: Overall, I've been very pleased with this club, but have yet to get out and go a full round with it. I've hit about a hundred balls with it so far at the range and it's very comfortable off the mat and off the FairwayPro divot simulator. Can't wait to hit it off the grass. Maybe this weekend!
Pros: I love the feel of hybrids and I love how I can address the ball pretty much like an iron, and get the extra distance and solid contact regardless of the type of lie I'm stuck with. The shaft has a nice kick to it, and fits my swing very well. Over the years I've really slowed my swing down, in a...
Cons: There's really nothing to not like at this moment. We'll check back in later when we have an update after playing this club for a while.
Summary: The R7 Draw irons are ok nothing special and, I have played every major brand. They are a little shorter in distance than many others I've hit and would not compare them to a super game improvement club.
Summary: These are decent irons for the money, I don't think they sold very well when they were new, but now with the price drop they sell great. If your just starting golf this set will be fine! Good luck, golf is a great game~ If you draw the ball already please don't get these irons it will only hurt you~
Summary: This purchase seemed like a good deal and prompted me to buy a second set of higher quality. After reading other reviews of people getting fake clubs I called the TaylorMade 800 number to see if the serial numbers on the sets were in their system. They were not.
Summary: These are nice clubs except that the weight is very unevenly distributed. All the weight is in the head similar to children's clubs. Also the shafts are a little longer than normal, but once you get used to them you'll love 'um.
Summary: I've played 10-15 rounds with these. Mine have steel, stiff shafts. Pros: Definitely reduced my slice. Nice balance, not too head heavy. Solid hits produce straight, long shots. They're pretty! Cons: They tend to want set up closed faced and can hit the ball straight to the left at times.
Summary: I purchased a TaylorMade r7 Draw Drive 10.5 degree Stiif flex in mid November. I had played with others who had this type driver and hit it great. Also it help to correct their slice. This club did help my problem with the slice, but I just did not like this club. The shaft was the main problem.
Summary: The r7 Draw 460 is a nice club. But, it really doesn't do much for the average guy. I think these big headed drivers really won't make it easy to draw the ball. Once they started making driver heads over 360 cc, the workability of the ball started to diminish. Oh sure, I can slice any most any club.
