Summary: Purchased the R7 Draw "A" Wedge to fill the gap between my R7 Draw Pitching and Sand Wedge. I love my R7 Draw irons. The A Wedge is my perfect 100 yd. club. It's also great out of hard pack bunkers. Would highly recommend these or any TaylorMade products.
Summary: Although this is an older club, I like the consistently straight hits I get from the fairway, the ruff, or off the tee. I have just started using hybrids this year after trying out my buddy's. I now have a 3H and 4H replacing my 7W and 4I.
Summary: I have to confess I'm a club junky. In the last two years...several Cobras, BB 460, Nickent 3 DX....all currently competing for pole postion in the garage. This TM is a cut above the Cobra Speed drivers and about equal to the BB 460. The BigBertha has a much lower profile that the TM, but I think the TM is more forgiving. Even a severe toe hit goes straight with fair distance. Believe me for $149 You Can Not Go Wrong!
Pros: The club has a nice feel to it and sets up well to the ball. I think this is a 2 degree closed face but it does not look like it at address. Impact feels solid and it seems to cure the fade. 45 inch shaft which I choke up a little and seem to get good results. This is by far the best TM driver I have ever used.
Summary: Overall, I've been very pleased with this club, but have yet to get out and go a full round with it. I've hit about a hundred balls with it so far at the range and it's very comfortable off the mat and off the FairwayPro divot simulator. Can't wait to hit it off the grass. Maybe this weekend!
Pros: I love the feel of hybrids and I love how I can address the ball pretty much like an iron, and get the extra distance and solid contact regardless of the type of lie I'm stuck with. The shaft has a nice kick to it, and fits my swing very well. Over the years I've really slowed my swing down, in an effort to make better shots, so the added flex really helps me get the ball down there when I'm not taking a full or extended swing. The grip is comfortable on this club, an...
Cons: There's really nothing to not like at this moment. We'll check back in later when we have an update after playing this club for a while.
Summary: Very nice set of clubs. I purchased these clubs because I always fade or even slice a ball. These clubs have a really nice offset/draw which compensates for my lack of turning my hands/arms over because of a shoulder injury. Thus, now when I make contact with the ball the face is square and the ball flight is straight and sometimes I even get a much desired draw! They hit as long as any other top name club I have tried and I have tried many of the best.
Summary: I am a 'new' golfer but wanted a quality set of irons. These taylormade irons are easy to use and correct some slice in shots made. They are used, and show some wear, but thats okay, because the price was very good! R7 draw irons are exceptionally forgiving and easy to use. I must admit I am now a 'taylormade' man.
