Summary: i liked so much, this is a very good deal for me, not necesarry the last new woods are better. His head its so forgettable, and the overall felling its good. besides is a little bit heavy at the backswing, make it more controllable
Summary: I was a taylormade wood user before, then i got caught up in the new technology of over sized woods and switched but I choose to go back to Taylormade Woods and the best golfing decision to date. I love my Taylormade 5 wood
Easy to hit..ball goes far..taylor made's best driver for distance period

Summary: Best Taylor Made club..provided it is 580XD..for distance..including the R-7,R-9,R-11..former club pro highly recoomends to save your money ...buy one of these...go get the right shaft you and have fun.
Summary: I wanted to change out my Adams Tight Lies 3 woods (I had both a 13* and a 16*) for something easier to hit off of the tee. I am not disappointed. This club is the best hitting and longest hitting 3 wood I've ever had. An excellent club that I recommend to anyone.
Summary: I sold my R580 2 years ago and have regretted it ever since because none of the later Taylormade models have performed as well. I bought this club because I thought it was the same as my old R580 only to find that the R580 XD is not the same as an R580, but is more like the R5 and R7 models that do...
Summary: Its rare, classic looking, and hits strait and far. The head is no too big and not too small and the club makes the best noise with good contact. it is one of the most playable and easy-to-hit fairway woods i have ever owned. My Club: taylormade R580 xd fairway 3 wood
Summary: Who needs to spend the huge bucks on this year's shiny offerings when these clubs are such a bargain? I've tried the R7 variants, along with several other brands present day offerings. No advantage, in all honesty. The 580XD is a really sweet Driver. It will be in MY bag for a long time.P.S.
Pros: I waited a while to review this Driver on purpose. After two seasons, I am still in love! Great distance improvement for me, (20 yds, no B.S.)and quite forgiving. This is a neutral bias club, so my slice still shows up from time to time, which can be fine on some holes, but when I swing properly,...
Cons: The stock Taylor grip is velvet...expect to replace it in a season. No big deal, and you get to pick something else for fun, right?Othier than that, it's a Taylor. Well made.
Conclusion: Massive head,Massive distance. I prefer this driver over the new R7.I can hit the R580XD much further than the R7. Throw out the original shaft,Get a pro to set you up with the right shaft for you and you'll gain extra metres.Easily the longest driver I have hit. Good workability and nice feedback.
Conclusion: Pros... A fantastic driver for the golfer that wants to hit straighter drives. Very consistent and great feeling club. Makes every shot feel as though you hit the sweet spot. Travels well even on off centre hits. Cons...
