Summary: I have only used them a few times and I like them already. I bought the burner ht to upgrade from my first year clubs. I am still a amateur player but the clubs have helped me stick the green nicely. The clubs have good distance and great height. I haven't found anything about the clubs that I do not like yet! I had a set of Tommy Armour clubs before but they do not compare well to the Burner ht. I would recommend these clubs .
Excerpt: I am a high handicap golfer that has golfed with hand me down sets. I finally took the plunge on a set of my own and am very happy. Very forgiving irons, and I am playing the parts of the course I pay for now. I have recommended the set to my older brother. You know it is good if you are willing to risk a knot on your head. Outstanding sale price. Many thanks, Golfsmith.
Excerpt: Purchase these irons a year ago, and used them for about 20 rounds, I have a set of Ping G5 also, and the Burners are the same as the Pings ( to me ) . Great price as well. I put over size grips and the ball strike is the same as the Pings. I have noticed that I'm getting about 10 more yards on the 5 iron with the burner. If you are looking for a good club, and not spend a lot of money, This is the club for sure....
Summary: I bought these clubs after a 15 year layoff from the game. I started playing with my old callaway copies and just couldn't get the feel I wanted. When I got my Taylormades it was like a revelation. I was longer at age 39 than I ever was in my early 20's. So far after 2 months, I've gone from low 100's to mid 80's. Don't get me wrong. These are not magic sticks that will improve your game overnight.
Summary: Awesome club! I'm a 17 handicap and this is the 60 degree for me! I can see why if your were a 10 handicap this club may not be your favorite. But if you are like me this club will help take a few strokes off!!
