Summary: These irons are juuuuuust right. Not too big, not too small. Not too much offset, not too little. Progressive head size, but nothing obnoxious either. They're an outstanding combination of i5 and i20 - the best bits of each. More compact and better turf interaction than i20. Like i5's with progressive head size and more forgiveness on the toe.
Summary: I have had the Ping i15 Axivcore x-flex driver in my bag for a good 2-3 years. One of the major reasons why I did so great with this driver is due to my fitting experience at an actual driving range. I don't think I would have considered this club if I were at a local golf shop hitting a net. My fitting instructor noticed that I hit the ball high and recommended that I go with an 8 degree. The ball flight is low and my snap hook has been controlled due to the open face.
Summary: Solid feel and good spacing club to club. Visually good but it takes a bit of getting used to the large sole. Forgiving on off-center hits. After playing the first 4-6 weeks I was very comfortable and confident using them.
Summary: These are fantastic irons. Progressive set improves forgiveness and trajectory with longer irons, but keeps the shorter irons tidy enough for control and scoring (plenty forgiving to boot). The previous poster saying the irons were a 'club shorter than his mizzies' probably fit for the wrong shaft. I've hit the MP's and these are longer.. I get a club more out of PING CFS and AWT shafts than I do the KBS Tours as well. But more important than length - is consistency.
Summary: These are not the longest irons (high ball flight with graphite shafts)- but They are very accurate and have amazingly consistent distance control. The short irons are deadly accurate, especially the "U" wedge. The finish is durable and looks good in the bag. These are PERFECT for players who hit it well- and don't mind admitting that they need a little help on toe hits or thinned shots from time to time.
Summary: Bought this driver used from Golf Galaxy and after 3 balls on the range, the epoxy came undone. What a pillock thing to happen! Anyway, took it back to GG and I will have it back in a few days. I will give a more thorough update next week..... Stay tuned.
Summary: I played the Ping G10, which was the best driver I ever had, until I tried the i15. The i15 is by far the best driver I have ever used. My fade shots go farther than my draw shots with the G10. The straight or draw driver are out of this world. Many par fours are now driver 9iron or pitching wedge. I got a good buy from ebay, other wise I probably would not have bought one. Well worth it.
Summary: This is BY FAR the best fairway wood I have ever hit. Straight and LONGGGG. I've have long been a Taylormade guy playing R7tp before jumping to the R9tp. Although at the last Ping Demo Day at my local club i tried the G15 and I15, ended up walking away with a Ping I15 3wd, 5wd and Hybrid. Very workable and enjoyable clubs for the lower handicapers!
