Summary: This is a driver that gives you great distance if you have the proper swin Graphite Shaft Stiff for long since PING is dedicated to the manufacture of golf clubs and is known as "the experience is achieved over time"
Summary: This is an upgrade for me. Went to the range and hit it fairly well even with off center hits. Took it to the course and hit a couple of 300 yd drives and several 275+. The couple of poor drives were nothing but the holder of the club. Nice club.
Summary: I like this club. It has a better feel than my R7 but may not be quite as long. More forgiving though. My misses are now fades instead of hooks. Probably because the shaft's a regular flex instead of firm. For the price that I found it for on ebay, I'm very satisfied with this driver.
Summary: Ping clubs are one of the better made clubs. They have a feel that helps you take your game to the next level with added confidence. Previously, I was playing with cheap new clubs and not enjoying the feel when one hits the ball. It just wasn't comfortable. With the Pings, most of the time you can hardly feel hitting the ball because they feel so good. I took at least ten strokes off my first game with them and get a little better every game since.
Summary: SG 5 with Version 3.94 firmware 80's Purchased from American Golf in the UK for £270. I bought this unit having seen one in use on a golf day with some friends. It's simple to set up and use. Just download the Synch software onto your desk top and then connect the unit. Setting up and downloading a selection of courses took about 20 minutes. The first time I took it to the course it took about 5 minutes to locate the sattelites.
