Summary: I am about a 12 handicap and i purchased the Ping G2 from the golf store i work at. I would be a better golfer if i played more than 3 times a month, and only in warm weather. I sell golf equipment six days a week, usually. I never practice much. My knowledge of golf equipment is far better than my golf game, to say the least. 80's I purchased my Ping G2 irons at a very low discount.(Thats all i can say) I can choose any club i want in my store at a great price.
Summary: Been playing for over 12 years, 14 handicap. Previously use 983k with NVS Stiff shaft 80's Won a 100.00 store credit and used it towards the driver. Net cost 200.00 The club seems to seat with aprox 1 Deg closed. The large head makes it impossible to miss the ball. I have hit the ball towards the toe as well as up on the face and it provides respectible distance. When hit in the center It has travel 20 yards longer than my previous driver. It is a very forgiving driver.
Conclusion: Tried the G2's at a demo day just for fun and was fitted for green dot. Shots hit felt great and flew straight or with a slight draw for me. I am used to playing Hogan Edge GCD clubs with very little offset and quite narrow soles. My misses are generally fat or off the toe and are usually punished by coming up 10m or more short. The demo day really piqued my interest in these clubs and made me want to try them again.
