Summary: I almost quit this game due to troubles with my driver (TM Burner). While warming up to play on a Saturday I stumbled on a Ping Demo Day at the driving range. I demoed both the G15 and I15 in different lofts and shafts. After hitting 5 or 6 different combinations the pro suggested that I try the 12 degree G15. What an amazing club! I was hitting towering drives with a slight draw one after another.
Summary: Looked around quite a while for a driver. Was playing the R9 460 and older Callaway Hyper X tour with fujikura optifit 360 shaft. Both were good with more than acceptable distance. Despite the good results, felt that they both had "quirkiness" I had to compensate for at setup/swing. Tried mant products like R11, R11S, Callaway Fit and the list goes on. In the end it was down to either the PingG15 or newer G20.
Summary: I use to be the shortest driver in my foursome...no more. This club has changed my game. Getting 20-25 yards more. Picked up one in excellent condition on ebay for $145. Get it now. Nuff said.
Summary: I recently purchased a set of these irons and had a chance to play them twice over the weekend. Very easy to hit. In fact, the easiest club I've ever hit. Tend to fly higher than other clubs I've had or demoed. Definitely like them!
Summary: Wow... hit the Demo today. Was awesome. If I wasnt so happy with my Adams Hybrids, might be tempted to buy this. Something about the head being slightly behind the shaft, seems to encourage an amazingly straight shot. 200 yards, without even trying. Should I throw away my Driver? Got some serious hang time also, which obviously would be good for sticking the greens. Pings got it going on.
Summary: Having a slow swing speed (87 MPH), I have carried a 5, 7, and 9 woods. When I snapped the shaft of my Callaway Big Bertha II 5 wood with Senior Shaft, I was going t have it reshafted. But, with a cost of over $100, I decided to buy a new 5 wood. Since I currently play PING irons (G10) and Wedges (TOUR-W), and Driver (G-15 10.5 Draw), I bought a G-15 5 wood with the Soft-Regular shaft. I Love it. It is straight and I have picked up 15 years from the old Big Bertha.
Summary: I've been searching for a good 3 wood without much success. hit about everyclub made at demo days. my favorite that i had hit at a few demo days was the G-15 fairway wood. found a used one for great price look like been hit two or three times. this is by far the sraightest and longest 3 wood i have ever hit. would recomend to anyone.
Summary: These clubs are incredible. They hit very solid. When you miss, you can tell where you miss but you are not severely punished. Great game improvement clubs. I hit every GI iron under the sun before buying these and I'm 100% confident I bought the best GI clubs on the market.
