Summary: I think I have finally found my set of hybrids! I recently upgraded my irons to Ping G-15 and love them. So I tried a couple of the G15 hybrids. They felt great but for some reason I was having trouble hitting them consistently. I found a used G10 28 * hybrid at the store and tried it out.
Summary: I have 32,28,24,21@18 degree I find that 32 @ 28 Trajectory a bit high in fact on windy days I remove the 32 @ add a six iron. however the from 24 through 18 managing the trajectory is easy and as good as any irons that I have ever played.
Excerpt: I bought a 24 degree G10 rescue last year (TFC stiff) after a custom fitting session at Ping, Gainsborough. I loved it using it out of the rough, off fairways and the tee. But after a few months I started struggling with a hook.
Excerpt: Tried this out at a local driving range that has a golf shop attached. It was straight forward to hit as long as you slow down, went 220+. I bought it for £109 and have used it a lot as a chip and run, from semi/fairway/tee one of my favorite clubs.
Excerpt: I went into my local club pro shop at the weekend and asked to have a crack with the cobra baffler and was sure i was going to add it to my bag, my pro asked me to have a go with the new ping g10 rescue.
Excerpt: I had a shot of the new hybrid 24 degree at American Discount. This would be the equivalent of a 4 iron. I found this a very easy club to hit and being a high handicapper even when i didn't strike exactly in the sweet spot the ball flight was straight and with a reasonable amount of distance.
