Summary: I'm a new golfer that has only been playing for less than a year and I started with this driver. I am also only 17 years old and the #2-3 starter on my high school golf team. I have looked for other drivers because I keep hoping I can hit it a lot farther. The funny thing is that nothing that I have used hits quite as good as this driver. An average drive for me is close to 260 yards with a club head speed of about 107 mph.
Summary: This is one of the best drivers I've ever had. I bought one new years ago and hit it great but decided I wanted a big name brand driver so traded it in. Always would think back about how long it was as I spent more and more money on big name drivers and never quite got the same results. Luckly I ran across one in our local golf store for $29.00 used but looking brand new so for $29.00 I thought I'd give it a shot again.
Summary: It is hard to like or dislike something that the seller didn't send - but took my money I would of loved to try the club out, but I ordered it 9 days ago, the seller has my money but he did not send the club.
Summary: I just started playing this past year because my little boy somehow became obsessed with golf. Now I'm addicted. The one thing I can say for sure is that this is a hard hitting driver. I have a 100mph swing and am using a stiff shaft. I recently removed a large slice from my drives and am bettering my cousin with around the same swing speed. He's hitting a Sumo and regularly drives over 250.
Summary: I had searched for an 8* driver for months to upgrade from the 350cc 8* Driver I had been using. The Nicklaus brand is as Top Shelf as ever. I own Golden Bear ATW Stainless Irons 6-SW, and this club is a perfect addition to my bag. The ML 440cc isn't the max legal size of 460cc but the Loft is more important for me. The ML 440 is a Long Hitter. I recommend this club in any loft necessary for your comfort level.
Summary: Who would think a used club could improve a golf score? Well, this one did! A Jack Nicklaus "Air Bear"! I used to carry one in my bag until someone stole it. Recently I thought maybe I could get another on eBay and sure enough, there was an upgrade to the former driver I loved. This one hits even better. I've managed to take eight strokes off my game. Thanks, eBay, you made my day!
Summary: I have tried many other drivers, ranging from Cobra and Taylor Made to Titleist and Adams. The Nicklaus Air Max 440, at least for me, gives me the solid feel, consistency and distance that I need off the tee. Nice weight. Great sound coming off of the clubface. Classic looks without all the funky allignment arrows and weird shape of the now popular square drivers. Just a well make club that fits my swing.
