Summary: I have played Mizunos for years. I am a single digit handicap. Anything less than Mizuno is a sacrifice. I needed to go away from the strictly muscle backs, and found a set of mx 300's with a Mizuno exar tour spec shaft in regular. This shaft plays more in between a stiff and a regular.
Summary: First brand new set I've bought since I've started playing. Was not impressed with first round, but, took them out and practiced a little. After that, I had the distance and precision back on most of the set. Still working on figuring out a club (4 iron). Very happy with this set.
Summary: always liked mizunos. forged is my preferred construction. these hit great, as expected. they are 1" shorter shaft than previous callaways, which i needed. they "look good" on the ground (align better, inspire confidence). the little bevel on the leading edge helps me to not dig so deep on divots.
Great club for mid-handicapper learning to shape shots
7 April 2012
Summary: These clubs are very workable on the course yet forgiving enough for a mid-handicapper such as myself. I also have a set of Mizuno JPX-800 which are great clubs too and may hit a tad further but the MX-300s are just better clubs when managing the course...IMO anyway.
Summary: Great find, have been looking to replace a lost mizuno 7 iron and was excited to have found it on ebay. I was searching retail golf shops, pro shops and even Mizuno and was told this club is no longer available or made. Thank you ebay.
Mizuno MX-300 irons with Accra graphite shafts are outstanding.
7 December 2011
Summary: What I purchased was a set of clubs, Mizuno MX-300 5 through GW plus a MP-T 56 degree SW, all with custom installed stiff Accra graphite shafts. These replaced an older set of players irons with graphite shafts. I have used the Mizunos about two weeks and love them.
