Summary: Nothing in golf feels as good as a perfectly struck shot with Mizuno irons. I have a set of Mizuno JPX 800 irons but I like to use long irons so I bought this new Mizuno MP60 3 iron and I love it. It isn't hard to hit at all in my opinion (4 handicap)and the ball just rockets off the face. I hit it to a par 5 from 220 yds and couldn't believe I carried it the entire distance but the ball sat down about 6 inches from it's pitch mark.
Summary: The description said the clubs had Winn 7 grips. They did but....only one of the six had the grip alligned correctly. Haven't hit them yet and maybe the cockeyed grips won't make a difference. But it was the grips that set this set apart from the other MP60's up for auction. Though I believe I got a fair price for this particular Mizuno design if I have to replace them all the reasonability of that price will go down.
Summary: These irons are amazing. The way they feel when you hit a shot is like everyone says, BUTTER! Only been playing for 2 years and I was hesitant at first to pick these up because of the smaller and almost full blade type heads. Let me say I find these easier to hit then my other set and I've learned to work the ball left, right, high, low, etc. If you have a decent swing and a love of the game pick a set of these up. They will definitely help you out.
Summary: Being a blade old Wilson Staff's player since the mid 70's, I purchased a set of MX series on Ebay, really they looked like a shovel in my hands. My swing speed has dropped about 25 mph from my younger days but I still like the thin lines of a blade. I then bought MP 60's again on Ebay and the were tweeked to my liking. I really love them, but now I have R-Flex instead of S400's.
Summary: I have used various styles of clubs to improve my game and confidence. The Mizuno MP-60 is very appealing and instills confidence at address of the ball. Off center shots are not as forgiving as I would like but the ball advances more than most when miss hit. If I played more than few times a month I believe these clubs would benefit game improvement in the long run. I am currently looking for something more forgiving and apt to aid in my miss fires.
