Shoots in the 70s

Jon Sadlier, GolfReview.com
4 March 2011
  • Summary: I purchased these irons last year to replace my MP-60s both of which had Dynamic Gold S300 shafts. I really liked the 60s but find these to be a little more forgiving with similar workability not to mention great much better looking at address and in the bag.

  • Summary: I've only had them a couple of days but these clubs are unbelievable! I switched from graphite shafts as I am only 14 and the feel and sound of the Mp-58's is pure. Nothing compares to the look, feel, sound or accuracy of the Mp-58's they are simply a masterpiece! :)

Shoots in the 80s

Chuck, GolfReview.com

  • Summary: I bought these only because it was a great deal from someone who bought them but changed their mind. I was happy with my MP-62's and thought that I would try these and if I didn't like them I would sell them. Well, after two swings on the golf course with these, I was sold.

Shoots in the 80s

  • Summary: Where to begin with these irons...For starters, these are probably the best looking Mizunos I have ever seen. Many people say they got too much going on as far as the titanium insert which I think makes the club look better, and at address, they look nothing short of a blade with maybe a little...

Shoots in the 80s

  • Summary: I shoot low 80's. These combined with the KBS stiff shafts are the nicest clubs I've ever used. I've tried them all and nothing feels like a Mizuno and finally a great stock shaft to match. Buy them if your a decent ball striker only. Good luck.

  • Summary: You'll want to read this because I'm a true scratch golfer. I grew up playing the Wilson FG-17's so you know I'm the real deal. My friends often comment on how I hit it flush with just about every shot...in short read on: I saw these babies at Haggin Oaks and just had to take em out.

Almost as good as it gets

4 December 2011
  • Summary: One of the most complete sets of irons I've ever picked up. They have literally everything, playability, forgiveness, looks and feel, and I guarantee if you give these a go you will be as impressed as I was.
  • Pros: I haven't had chance to try the new mp-59s yet, which as a mizuno fanatic will grate me until I do, but if they're anything like the mp-58s they are destined to be a success. It's perfect for a fairly accomplished golfer who just wants the responsiveness of a blade, but a modicum of forgiveness f...
  • Cons: Surprisingly, I've had a few friends who have pointed out that they don't look quite as good as previous models, inevitably drawing comparisons with the gorgeous 57s. They don't believe that it looks quite as natural and everybody is entitled to their opinion. If you're someone who this might bot...
