Summary: I paired this driver with the callaway Hex Chrome ball and I consistently move the ball right to left with 15 yards more distance. The one drawn back has been I try to get even more distance then there is the pull hook. Let the club and ball do the work. Very good value for money.
Summary: Took it to the range and hit some balls and was pushing everything right, for got to take the head wrench with me, went home and adjusted the face to the closed position. When youadjust it it says to wait for the audible click then stop you have to really tighen it to get it to set really suprised at how tight actually and it is a very audible click. Didnt have a chance to hit it before taking it out to play the next day and wow it is perfect.
Summary: I recently bought the ZL Encore Black, 9.5*, with the Fujikura F1 stiff flex shaft. Believe it or not, I purchased the club site unseen based solely on reviews (both here an on other sites), as I needed a new driver rather quickly. Awesome driver so far...very, very happy with my decision.
Conclusion: One of the best things that happened to my game was the purchase of this driver. I have had 3 drivers over the last 4 years and this one by far has been the best. Red is a very cool color, but most importantly is the distance. It is 20 yds longer than my Titleist 910D2. Straight ball mostly. It is adjustable only with face angle....not loft. 55G weighted shaft is excellent for us mid speed swingers (high 80s - low 90s).
Summary: I have what some calls a nice problem. I buy a new driver about once a month. Get tired of them or dont hit it as well as i think i should and sell it. We all know its all ways the drivers fault. Anyway ive tried them all. Taylor best Cleveland best Callaway best, Ping best. Have not tried Titlist so cant compare it. I just bought the new Cobra encore a couple of weeks ago and ive never owned a driver that i like as well as this club. Can not dsy enough. Just get one.
Summary: It is the most forgiving driver I have ever hit. I get a higher trajectory and more distance when I hit it correctly. When I don't it is still playable. It might help that everyone I have played with has commented on how good the club looks. Which doesn't mean squat unless it performs, and it normally does. Well enough that I got the 3 wood T-railer to go along with it which is equally impressive.
Summary: Solid driver, purchased the 10.5 with S shaft, the all white accents make the driver stick out from the rest not looking like every other driver on the range and course. Not many people have this driver unlike Taylor Made and Ping; played both brands for many years before deciding to switch to the Cobra ZL White Driver, solid investment and move on my part. This is my first 10.5 after hitting 7-9 degrees for years, still get the distance but with higher trajectory.
Summary: I am a Cobra fan, and use Cobra CM iron, Baffler and Amp rescue woods. I bought this to replace my Cobra S-2 driver. It is awesome, and as much as I loved my S2, I don't even think of it any more.
