No performance gain over the Adams hybrid, hits good but no better.

Summary: I purchased a Callaway driver and liked it VERY much, with a 10 yard distance gain, so I thought I would try the Callaway hybrids. I bought a Callaway X Hot hybrid, I have used the club numerous times, even long practice sessions on the range. The results I found are that the X Hot did hit well but gave me NO distance gain or any other advantage over the Adams hybrid I am currently using.

Summary: I bought the 27 degree for 150 yds (after borrowing a friend's other brand and GREENED the 1st time) because i couldnt hit my 6-iron that far anymore. I love my 2H, 3H and 4H may be my favorite club...but still trying to be consistent with 5H as it seems lighter (i think this is graphite vs.
Conclusion: Owned a 3h graphite regular shaft. The club is much easier to hit than an iron. Distance for this club for me was 205-220 range. I wished only that I had the stiff shaft. A little too whippy feeling for me. Ball comes off the face very well and gets in the air quickly. Even a high ball flight for a 3h.
