Summary: Great looking club. Easy to hit and gets the ball up in the air easy. Good to the eye at address. For players who hit the ball high already, this club is not for you. You will lose distance. Solid contact easily felt. Club is much lighter if used with graphite shafts.
Summary: These clubs were purchased for my husband. He's been using them for only a couple of days so far and is very pleased. We bought the Callaway irons for the brand and the reviews. The quality is great. They help the average player perform to higher standards. New technology is great. One must update to compete in the golfing world.
Summary: i bought the x22 3 iron with grafite shaft because i bought aset of x20s without a 3 iron. i like the grafite stiff flex shaft because it feals like a regular flex in a steel shaft. i have had r7 draws and g2 pings i got 10 more yards out of the x22.
Summary: For the last year I have been using a name brand set of hybrid irons. I had enjoyed the ease they gave to get the ball high and long. But my lack of accuracy really bothered me. I had previously gone to a demo day where I fell in love with Callaway X-20's. I decided that it was time to bite the bullet and bought used X-22's. From the first hit with the 6 iron my game has improved over 10 strokes.
Summary: I purchased an X-22 4 iron to go with the 5-PW set I had previously purchased. I bought the abreviated set with the intention of getting a 3 and 4 hybrid but decided I only needed a 3 hybrid. I have played with the Callaway X-22 irons for 2 seasons and have found them to be the best set of clubs I have ever used. As I just turned 70 I don't hit the ball as far as I used to so I have to depend on hitting the balls accurately and these X-22s do the job for me.
