Summary: This club gives me effortless power. I can get 250 on the fly, and with the 9.5 degrees, I hit it low and get some incredible rolls. Sends plenty of balls to the edge of the driving range for me. I find that when I just swing easily, I get the best results. I occasionally have a fade, but the club is pretty forgiving. I am an amateur golfer so I still mishit the ball sometimes.
Summary: I am a high handicapped golfer and the worst of my game was driving. With my driver, I either sliced the ball dramatically or topped it. When I received the Callaway Diablo Edge driver, my first drive was around 250 yards, with water on the right and trees on the left - It went straight down the center. I thought it was a fluke, but the rest of game was just about the same. NO MORE SLICING OR TOPPING THE BALL.
Summary: I purchased one of these off ebay for about 50$. this was after i went and hit a taylormade r11 at a pro shop as well as some other high cost drivers and was hitting them all consistently around 250. I didn't feel like dropping a huge amount of money on a club that didn't improve my shot much. I then was looking around to see what i could find for not much money, and I came across this driver which i hit 280 almost every time. great purchase for myself.
Summary: Great club. Easy to swing and great distance. The best thing for a weekend hacker like me is the forgiveness on bad shots. Now my bad shots are way out there instead of nubbed or topped. Get thus club.
Summary: This driver has been a great addition to my bag. I came from a TM Burner 2009 10.5 degree with a regular flex shaft. This Diablo 9 degree with a stiff shaft is just awesome. Swing speed is 95mph avg. so the stiff shaft is much better for me. I was driving about 240yd in the air, 260 with a roll. Now I'm hitting about 300 with a roll. Love the launch angle off this 9 degree. Much less loft, 11 degrees compared to my 14 degrees with the Burner.
Summary: This is a great driver, but somehow I accidentally ordered the ladies flex shaft when I wanted the regular. I am taking it to a club fitter to put on a new shaft. After noticing a lot of wildfire balls particularly hooks I loked at my invoice and found that I got the wrong flex. This driver is amazing though and has a really nice finish.
Summary: I chose this club because it claimed to be very forgiving and have a large sweet spot. And, the price was very reasonable, having checked various pricing. The claim proved to be true. I am hitting it further and straighter, and I love the feel and weight. This is a perfect match for my level of play. I highly recommend to anyone.
Summary: But wow this is a great driver. I have been very inconsistent with my drives. I was using a gigagolf driver and knew I probably didn't have the greatest driver but always believed it was my swing. Well my swing isn't perfect now but I hit this driver great. It is much easier to hit it straight and far. Slices can still happen but not nearly as bad. First time out I hit some really nice dead straight drives. allowed me to open up my swing and hit with great distance.
