Summary: I have always loved my squareway 3 and 5 woods. Decided to try a the 7 wood, while I could still find one, and couldn't be happier. The distance replaced my 3 hybrid, with more loft and backspin it goes extremely straight.
Summary: Found the 3-wood fine off the tee but next to impossible to hit off the deck. After more than 30 bad fairway shots with it over several games, most of which were worm burners and OOB, gave it up. The 5-wood is OK, but tends to fade from time to time for no apparent reason.
Summary: A month ago while playing at a public course, a retiree invited me to test his FT-i 7-wood because he loves it so much. I took a couple swings with it and liked it, the square head looks strange wbut it worked well.
Conclusion: 3-Wood is the hated club in my bag. I never have been able to hit any 3 wood. SUPER slicer. Got it for $1 during buy a driver sale at Callaway. Different profile thant most 3 woods. seems to be flatter. When hit correctly, to goes great. It has a "plock" sound like a hollow wood block.
